Lobby, Lounge, & Restaurant: Complete. The Edgewater Beach Hotel recently debuted its
newly designed lobby, lounge, and restaurant in the first phase of a total refurbishment. The
multi-million dollar project is headed up by Robert Barry of Barry Design. The open floor plan
of the hotel’s lobby provides magnificent views of the sandy white beaches and turquoise water
of the Gulf Coast. The color palette is an inviting combination of warm reds and oranges with
splashes of green and blue that play off the glistening hues of the sun and water.
Pool & Gardens: Coming Winter ’07. Addition of a 2-lane lap pool and refurbishment of
current pool’s deck and courtyard gardens. Tropical foliage and native fauna will surround the
courtyard providing shade and color further enhancing the hotel’s natural beauty. Adjacent to
the pools, a new restaurant and beach hut will provide sunbathers with fresh, Florida cuisine
and cold beverages
Hotel Tower Suites: Coming Winter ’07. Transformed into a more modern, residential-feel
complete with state-of-the-art amenities such as 32-inch LCD flat screen TVs, high-speed
internet, and polished nickel appliances. Gulf View Tower Suites offer large windows and
overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with breath-taking views of white sands against crystal blue
water. The living rooms and bedrooms boast custom designed furniture. The new bathrooms are
outfitted with fixtures by luxury bath purveyor Waterworks and French farmhouse basins and
stainless steel appliances have been placed in all the kitchens. From dark engineered hardwood
floors throughout the kitchen and parlour to the appeasing earth tones of olive, white and gold
in the carpet, guests will enjoy a fresh, luxurious atmosphere. The new décor of rich chocolate
brown and tropical kiwi evokes a relaxed, simple state of mind where guests are transported to
